WSYX: Vaccine incentive doubles for Ohio Medicaid members
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A push to get more Medicaid members vaccinated is underway. Ohio’s Medicaid Managed Care Plans now doubling incentives for those who receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
The incentive program started when Gov. DeWine set a vaccination goal.
“The governor challenged the managed care plans to get an additional 900,000 Medicaid members vaccinated between June 15 and September 15,” said Kelly O’Reilly, the President and CEO of the Ohio Association of Health Plans.
