At the Homeless Families Foundation, we’ve known for a long time that homelessness hurts every aspect of a person’s life.

For a pregnant woman experiencing a housing crisis, the damage often extends into the next generation; homelessness has long been known to be both cyclical and multi-generational.

Good public policy, however, is built on proven best practices, not common knowledge, and that’s what makes the success of Healthy Beginnings at Home so promising.
